Our goal is to change the world around us
While combining pleasure, joy and curiosity, Drömmarnas Hus ('House of Dreams') uses culture, nature, creative pedagogy and the individual creativity as tools in efforts towards changing society.
Since 1990 we have been situated in Rosengård, Malmö. In year 2000 we changed our name from Theatre X to Drömmarnas Hus. We are a social enterprise, and all of our projects are sponsored by funders and sponsors who share our belief: that it is possible to change the world through culture!
Within the recent larger projects, tens of thousands of children and adolescents have met our professional culture workers in creative and social processes and projects. But in addition to working in schools, we also have spare time activities, including evening classes. Everyone is welcome to participate in these activities - and all the classes are for free.
We are based in Rosengård, but for the past couple of years we have also been working throughout the entire region of Skåne. We also work with international partners in many European countries.
The goal of our work is to encourage integration and fellowship by highlighting the inner resources of human beings and to make the actual needs of the young visible.
